Securing the Future

‘Securing the Future’ A dialogue with the 3rd Sector in North Yorkshire

The ‘Securing the Future’ dialogue has been issued by Commissioners from both ACS and NHS who are seeking responses to a series of questions.

The responses to the dialogue will be used to shape the future development of the new Health and Social Care commissioning processes with third sector organisations in North Yorkshire.

The dialogue is about finding the most efficient way of spending public monies invested in the sector. It is about ensuring the sector is robust enough to avail of the new business and financial opportunities and cope with the economic downturn. It is also about simplifying how ACS, the NHS and the sector do business together.

Who is the dialogue with?

This dialogue is with those third sector organisations which ACS and NHS currently fund and is with all locally based third sector organisations providing or seeking to provide health and social care related activities/outcomes in the county. So the primary focus is with those who provide front line support and services to people in the community.

The Consultation runs until 30th November 2009 and a series of events are being planned with the members of the York and North Yorkshire Infrastructure Consortium and further details will be circulated in September.  If you have any queries or concerns please contact Bob Curry Partnerships Manager NYFVO bob.curry@nyfvo.org.uk.
