North Yorkshire Strategic Partnership (NYSP)
The role of the NYSP is to promote the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of North Yorkshire's communities. To achieve this it takes as its focus the Sustainable Community Strategy for North Yorkshire 2008/18 and the linked Local Area Agreement 2008/11, which set out key priorities and targets to achieve the vision of making North Yorkshire an even better place in which to live, work and visit.

Social Inclusion Strategy 2007-2010
The Social Inclusion Strategy unites all the County Council is doing to promote social inclusion amongst our communities and to seek to identify areas where work still needs to be done. It is also a signposting document for contacts in the County Council.

Grants and External Funding (web section)
North Yorkshire County Council currently offers a variety of discretionary grant schemes to businesses and community groups each of which has its own eligibility criteria.

It also offers communities and businesses the opportunity to search its new and improved GRANTnet service to identify funding sources available for specific projects. GRANTnet provides access to the most comprehensive and up to date funding data base in the UK.
