Awards for All - Relaunched Programmes Across the UK

Awards for All is a National Lottery funded scheme providing grants for small community-based projects throughout the UK. From today, each country is running its own updated programme and inviting new applications from eligible organisations.
AIM: The programme aims to bring real improvements to communities and to the lives of people most in need. It will fund projects that involve people in their communities, bringing them together to enjoy a wide range of charitable, community, educational, environmental and health-related activities. Examples of the items eligible for funding include: equipment hire or purchase; feasibility studies for building projects; information technology equipment; and publicity materials.
GRANT SIZE: between £300 and £10,000.
ELIGIBILITY: Not-for-profit groups, social enterprises, parish and town councils, schools and health bodies may apply to Awards for All.
DEADLINE: Applications are accepted at any time and will be assessed on a rolling basis.

Awards for All England no longer funds small projects based mainly on sports, arts or heritage. Other Small Lottery Grants which are available include: - Sport England will provide small grants for sports ranging from £300 - £10,000.- Arts Council England will provide small grants through their existing ‘Grants for the arts’ programme, supporting awards between £1,000 and £100,000. - Heritage Lottery Fundsmall grants will be provided through the existing 'Your Heritage' (£3,000 to £50,000) and 'Young Roots’ (£3,000 to £25,000) schemes.
